Sky Power launches new generator control system

German engine manufacturer Sky Power GmbH is adding new generator control system, the SGC 081. This starter generator control unit can be used for engines with fuel injection as well as for engines with carburetors. "The additional Starter Generator Control SGC 081 is lighter than the generator control system we introduced previously. Turkey’s Baykar to use locally-made powerplants in latest drones

Turkey’s UAV manufacturer, Baykar, will use locally manufactured engines for its latest combat product, according to the company’s chief technology officer. The engines will be produced domestically by TUSAŞ Engine Industries (TEI), a subsidiary of state-owned Turkish Aerospace Industries' (TAI), revealed Selçuk Bayraktar, CTO of Baykar, on his Twitter account. Bayraktar said that the new engine, which will be fitted to the Bayraktar TB3, one of Turkey’s latest surveillance drones, has some of the highest performance figures in its class.
