UK-based commercial drone specialist Coptrz has revealed that it expects surveying and construction to play a key role in the future of the business.
The company, which first entered the commercial UAV market in 2016, provides support to companies looking to bolster their service with the addition of UAV capabilities.
Coptrz’s business development manager, James Pick, told Commercial Drone Professional that he expects two markets that the company currently works in to continue its rapid growth.
He said: “[At Coptrz] it’s always busy with the amount of people from a multitude of different industries wanting to get involved in the drone marketplace. The biggest people are the emergency services and survey and construction.
“We surveyed something like 45,000 people and survey and construction was the main area where people saw growth.”
Having discovered where industry leaders see the market shifting to over the coming month, Coptrz has been quick to respond.
Pick added: “I was taken on in that regard to be able to target those companies, talk to them about their current work and work with them to develop something that could almost slip into their current ethos so they’re not having to dramatically change what they’re currently doing. Ideally slipping drones into their current work flow and then continuing from that.”
