Terra Drone has claimed it will create “Europe’s largest drone hub” in Rotterdam after it recently invested in Dutch drone solutions provider Skytools.
Together the pair plan to offer advanced drone solutions to corporate and government clients.
The drone hub will reportedly consist of training facilities and research and development centres.
This news comes as Terra Drone completes its investment in Skytools.
Skytools supplies a wide range of professional drone equipment, together with registration, training, and maintenance, having 12 years of experience in the industry.
It serves clients in oil and gas, engineering, chemical and other industries.
From its upcoming research and development work it hopes to create solutions such as fully automated drones and remotely operated drones with 5G.
Skytools will also start providing military-grade fixed wings from C-Astral, a Terra Drone group company in Slovenia.
Yuki Ueno, head of Europe, Terra Drone Corporation, said: “Skytools has been dedicating themselves to providing the best drone-based solutions to clients and has contributed to the growth of the market.
“Collaboration with Skytools will surely boost Terra Drone’s force to create a better future by utilising and developing the capability of drones on a global scale.”
