Texo DSI, the dedicated offshore division of Texo Drone Survey and Inspection Limited, has inked a new deal with a multinational energy company.
Texo, which owns and operates one of the world’s most comprehensive and dynamic fleets of UAVs for industrial applications, has signed a three-year global framework agreement for the provision of advanced UAV-deployed survey and inspection services.
The scope of services will incorporate a number of enabling and disruptive, UAV-deployed technologies, including survey-grade LiDAR, hyperspectral reflectance mapping, CUI and non-contact microwave, and the company’s recently deployed, non-magnetised, UT inspection payload.
John Wood, chief operations officer at Texo DSI, said: “The award of this framework agreement by a major international energy client further endorses our unique position across multiple energy sectors.
“We will continue to push the boundaries of remote sensing R&D and work closely with our academic partners and existing clients, around the globe, to develop solutions which meet their diverse operational requirements.”
