The Sky Guys appoints new president to lead on commercial focus


The Sky Guys has appointed Jeremy Chan-Hao Wang as president, taking effect today.

The Canadian drone operator and manufactured confirmed that Wang will take lead on the company’s overall operations and growth, including key revenue, product development, and commercialisation activities throughout 2019.

Wang will report directly to chairman and chief executive officer, Adam Sax.

The Sky Guys’ new president previously served as chief technology officer at the firm, where he was responsible for the company’s UAV and software portfolios from 2016 to 2019.

Prior to The Sky Guys, Jeremy’s most recent work involved engineering design, program management, and fundraising over $36M (£27m) for drone, rocket, and satellite projects at the University of Toronto.

Speaking on his appointment, he said: “It is an honour to have the support of the board and my colleagues, and moreover a privilege to lead such a capable group of people during the critical year ahead.”

He added: “I am extremely proud of how far we have come, and I look forward to driving sustainable revenue growth and accelerating our innovation efforts in the coming months.”
