Lincolnshire Police ended a search mission successfully after its thermal imaging drone located the missing person in question.

Described on the Lincolnshire Police drone team’s Twitter as a ‘vulnerable missing person’, once located, the team worked alongside the dog unit to guide the handler closer.

As part of the statement, the team said: ‘Fantastic result overnight for our 24hr thermal drone operators. Direct find of a vulnerable missing person at high risk of harm in woods near Sleaford and great teamwork with LincsPoliceK999 again guiding in the handler.’
