Insitu designs, develops and manufactures customised unmanned aerial systems and media management software solutions and provides global training and related services to the industry.
The company, owned by Boeing, operates its systems in extreme environments around the world and aims to deliver high quality information to its customers who can make subsequent decisions on the data provided.
It has recently made steps to alleviate the line of sight barrier in the industry with its UAS configuration system, which was designed to enable users to save money by augmenting higher cost systems with a small UAS, freeing up the larger strike-capable unmanned assets to conduct more of the kinetic missions.
This type of work hasn’t gone unnoticed and could mean Insitu develops into an even more formidable player over the next twelve months.
