Coptrz offers free A2 CofC drone training to stimulate industry’s recovery

New drone flying regulations (A2 CofC) became law in the UK on 31 December requiring everyone who flies a drone to study for and pass new qualifications mandated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).  To help support the recovery and expansion of UK drone industry, training provider Coptrz is offering its A2 CofC drone training course free of charge. During 2020 the cost of these qualifications was typically between £200 and £1,000, depending on the weight of drones flown.  Coptrz’s CAA-certified A2 CofC course is delivered online and uses artificial intelligence (AI) to enable online examinations. India launches drone pilot training and recruitment drive

India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation has launched a drive to recruit and train drone pilots as part of its effort to make commercial UAVs “become a reality” in the country. Government-run flight training centre, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udaan Academy, announced over the weekend that it is expanding to include drone pilot training courses. Heliguy launches specialist surveying course with Drone Survey School

A new specialist drone surveying course has been launched to help professionals conduct more accurate and consistent drone surveys. Heliguy has partnered with drone survey training provider Pieter Franken, of Drone Survey School , to host the Drone Survey Fundamentals training course.
