New drone flying regulations (A2 CofC) became law in the UK on 31 December requiring everyone who flies a drone to study for and pass new qualifications mandated by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). To help support the recovery and expansion of UK drone industry, training provider Coptrz is offering its A2 CofC drone training course free of charge. During 2020 the cost of these qualifications was typically between £200 and £1,000, depending on the weight of drones flown.
