UAV Navigation has joined forces with Octopus, a manufacturer of payload for UAV platforms.
The move will see UAV Navigation’s Vector autopilot pair up with the Octopus Epsilon UAV gimbal payload.
The combination is planned to provide positional and rotational parameters to enable precision tracking and pointing features for the camera.
The Vector autopilot, due to its extensive I/O capabilities allows the transmission of attitude and position data directly to the gimbal so no additional devices are needed.
UAV Navigation commented on the move and said that as a firm wanting to work with payload manufacturers, it sees this partnership at part of its continuous improvement as a company.
