UNVEX is set to expand its format this year with an open virtual area.
The objective is to add value and generate business opportunities in the sector until the event is held in person in Santiago de Compostela.
This sixth edition will be delayed to the first quarter of 2021 due to the international health crisis of Covid-19.
UNVEX now enriches its offer with a new virtual area that will be launched on October 6 and will continue until the inauguration of the face-to-face event, enhancing the participants visibility during those five months.
UNVEX was scheduled for this autumn, but the organisation has decided to delay this edition due to the uncertainty arising from the pandemic.
It explained: “The safety of attendees is guaranteed at all times, but at this stage of the crisis, the restrictions for the upcoming moths are still unknown as well as which countries will be affected (it is important to understand that being an international event, UNVEX has participants from all over the world).”
Because of this, the organisation explained that “holding a UNVEX in uncomfortable conditions, with the absence of international speakers and visitors and in an atmosphere that does not facilitate personal relationships, seems to betray the spirit and objectives of the event.”
For this reason, the meeting is delayed to a more propitious time and the work that has been done so far will be used to create the aforementioned virtual area.
The digital platform will have its own program of activities that will include, among others, monographic webinars and an interactive area for the promotion of sponsors and exhibitors.
