Heliguy has been named Retail & Service Provider of the year at the North Tyneside Business Awards 2018.
Organisers of the awards said it was Heliguy’s outstanding customer service and passion to develop the drone industry which saw them come out on top.
The North Shields-based UAV expert was presented with the Retail and Service Provider Award at last night’s ceremony staged at Spanish City, in Whitley Bay.
Outstanding retail and enterprise client service and support, CAA NQE for drone pilot training and having an established manufacturer qualified repair centre were highlighted as the three main achievements which helped the firm walk away with the accolade.
David Bavaird, chairman of North Tyneside Business Forum, explained why he thought the company came out on top, he said: “Congratulations to Heliguy on picking up the Retail and Service Provider Award. The retail and service sector is collectively at the forefront of what makes North Tyneside a leading destination in the region. Heliguy has a real passion to succeed and grow its business and for this reason it was awarded the accolade.”
