International technology company Intel took to the sky as part of the entertainment at American festival Coachella this summer.
As part of the evening presentation a hoard of 300 of Intel’s drones were used to form a starry night display.
The drone light show installation, which was organised by Intel in collaboration with HP and Coachella, was designed specifically for the event.
The purpose-built system, which operate without cameras, is made out of lightweight plastic, foam and one lightbulb that is capable of multiple colour combinations.
During the show the UAVs formed dynamic shapes such as Ferris wheels and windmills.
